About the grape
Chardonnay is a white grape from Burgundy, where it makes the whites of Chablis and the Côte de Beaune, and one of the three main grapes of Champagne. It adapts to many climates: cool areas give high-acid, citrusy wines; warm areas and oak give more body and vanilla notes.
