About the grape
Blaufränkisch is a Central European red grape closely tied to Austria's Burgenland, the basis of Mittelburgenland DAC and red Leithaberg DAC. In Hungary it is called Kékfrankos and in Germany Lemberger. It makes reds with black fruit, spice and lively acidity.
